In an Instagram message posted on Tuesday night, the hip-hop icon said "Thanks to my family, friends, and fans for their interest and well wishes," wrote Dre. "I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team."
He continued, "I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!"
In other news it had been reported that just hours after it was announced Dr. Dre was hospitalized his home was the target of an attempted burglary on Tuesday night in West Los Angeles.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the suspects were stopped by undercover officers following a pursuit around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Kenter Avenue.
